Love Box Instructions

 

Step 1

Put box together with tape.

Step 2

Fill with goodies. This is a "flat rate'' box so pack as much as possible inside. The shipping cost is Just $11.95

Step 3

Seal the box.

Step 4

Write the address on the box and fill out the PS Form 2976-A. (If you did not get one when you picked up the box, the Postal Employee at the Post Office will provide one to you when you get the window).

Step 5

Pay $11.95 for postage. It takes 7-10 days to reach the soldier.

Do Ideas

Include encouraging notes, your e-mail address, local news, Music CD's, books on CD, hand held games, cookies, jam, granola, energy bars, skittles (they don't melt), magazines, etc. Hard candy and school supplies will get distributed to the local children. Let your imagination be your guide! If the soldier responds to you, consider regularly e-mailing and sending more boxes.

Don't Ideas

Do not send items that will melt, leak or spoil in the 7-10 days it takes to get to the soldier. No articles from the press critical of them or their mission.
